Even though, no one commented on even a guess.......here is the answer.
The picture was taken from the top of Masada in Israel. The water you see below in the distance is the Dead Sea. Masada is one of the coolest and most interesting places I have ever visited.
I encourage you to google it and learn more about the incredible story that took place on the top of this incredible place. In the moment of truth........the Jews that were there chose death to ultimately get "more life". Check it out and you will see what I mean.
